🇬🇧 Product Description 📖🔽
Analog TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) sensor designed to measure the concentration of dissolved substances in water.
TDS represents the amount of dissolved solids (in ppm), which directly correlates with water quality: higher values indicate higher concentration of dissolved salts and impurities.
Key Characteristics
– Measurement range: typically 0–1000 ppm
– Output signal: analog voltage (0–2.3V)
– Supply voltage: 3.3–5.5V
– Accuracy: approx. ±10% (typical for this class)
– Waterproof probe for continuous immersion
– AC excitation signal to reduce probe degradation and improve stability
Use in the N.E.R.D. System
The TDS sensor is used to monitor water quality in real time.
The analog signal is acquired via the RS485 analog module and converted into digital data, allowing:
– Continuous monitoring of permeate quality
– Detection of membrane performance issues
– System diagnostics and safety checks
This provides a simple and effective method to track water purity without complex instrumentation.
Application
Suitable for water quality monitoring in reverse osmosis systems and other clean water applications.
Provides a reliable indication of dissolved solids content, helping to evaluate system performance and output quality.
